How this record is made
A scheduled worker reads the public Apple Certified Refurbished category pages twice a day and keeps the product name, configuration string, SKU and price of each listing. Nothing else is collected: no cookies, no analytics, no accounts, no affiliate tags.
What is measured, what is inferred
Measured: the listing exists on that date, at that price, with that configuration. Inferred: the category grouping, derived from the product name, and the cheapest and median figures, which are arithmetic over the measured rows.
What this cannot tell you
A listing price is not a value judgement. No discount percentage is computed, because that would require the new price of the identical configuration, which Apple publishes on a different page that changes independently.
A price is the one read at that moment. It may already be stale by the time you click through.
Where the data lives
Snapshots are kept in Cloudflare storage, not on a personal machine, and the newest snapshot plus the monthly append log are published at /data/ for anyone to copy.
